about

"Goodbye" is a high energy, harmony-infused track which perfectly showcases the bands' tendency towards unique arrangements and instrumentation. With throwback undertones that pay homage to The Beatles, to the stripped down electric guitar mid-section that lingers with a haunting White Stripes-feel, to the massive, powerhouse finale, there's a little something for everyone here. The song goes from a beat-heavy yet feather-light verse to a dynamic chorus that overflows with rumbling drums, soaring vocals, and a wildly hooky, completely unforgettable melody. Kiyoshi's lyrics are poignant but just vague enough, allowing room for the listener to interpret as he or she might but never distracting from the overall emotional pull of the music. The listener understands, without particularly knowing why. For a band that colors outside the lines without hesitation, "Goodbye" is the perfect indroduction; impressive in its' production and quality, and completely radio-ready.
